Why We Started Praman Picks
Most product review websites in India simply regurgitate Amazon manufacturer spec sheets or translate Western review blogs that have zero relevance to Indian realities. A dishwasher or air fryer tested in an apartment in London or California behaves completely differently from one exposed to Indian hard water (TDS > 800 ppm), frequent 180V–260V voltage surges, or spicy, oily Indian cooking residues.
Praman was born to replace subjective marketing fluff with empirical, data-backed evidence. Using our open-source research engine (Praman CLI), we monitor what Indian consumers across 10 regional languages and English actually search for, investigate real consumer complaints, and test gear against genuine Indian living conditions.
